SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: A resident called 911 at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 20 to report seeing a handwritten note in a car window at the Safeway on Northwest Gilman Boulevard. The note read, "First Kill Michael Kronenwetter." An investigation revealed that "First Kill" is the name of a novel by author Michael Kronenwetter.
